*Meeting Alert* Bd of Adjustment hearing on ShopRite site postponed to 6:30 PM Apr 20

The hearing on the rezoning of the old ShopRite shopping plaza at the corner of Veronica and Rt 27 was supposed to take place on Apr 6; however this hearing has been postponed until April 20 at 6:30 pm at the request of the developer.

Please plan on attending this hearing and raise questions about the amount of undeveloped land they intend on covering over with concrete and blacktop and how they intended on controlling the traffic coming in and out of this plaza. Should be a fun night!

*Meeting Alert* April 6 Franklin Bd of Adjustment 7:30 PM

The Franklin Board of Adjustment (Zoning) will be meeting at the Franklin Muncipal Center on DeMott to rezone the old Shop Rite shopping center at Rt 27/Verornica for a Super Shop 'n Stop.

**Meeting Alert** Franklin Township Planning Bd March 22 @ 7:30pm

C'mon down to the Franklin Township Municipal Center on DeMott on March 22 for the final hearing on the inclusion of the Bennetts Lane project into the town's Master Plan draft. Supposedly the Master Plan draft should be up on Franklin's website by now, however, it's not there yet. Check back on Monday - it might be there!

**Meeting Alert!** Tainted Ford Site Debris meeting, March 16, 7pm, Edison

Edison residents concerned with the tainted debris at the Ford site, are invited to a meeting on March 16 at 7 pm at the Pines Manor, Route 27, Edison. This meeting was organized by Sen. Barbara Buono.

Anyone attending the meeting who would like to provide a coherent, informative summary of the meeting, please feel free to comment.

Criminal Charges Being Probed by 2 NJ Republicans

A NJ Assemblyman and NJ State Senator are pushing the state into conducting a criminal investigation into the PCB-tainted concrete debris that was sold by Ford to Edgewood Properties for use as fill. So who is responsible for this contamination?
